Search for side hustle ideas and you get the same forty items in a different order. The writer has never done any of them. The ranking follows whoever pays the biggest commission. This site tries to be the opposite: a reference you can filter, sort, and argue with.
Why it exists
The useful question is almost never "what side hustles are there?" It is narrower than that. It is usually some version of:
- What can I start this weekend with under $100?
- What pays over $2,000 a month and does not need a car?
- What can I do remotely that does not require me to already have an audience?
- What will actually pay me before the end of the month?
None of those can be answered by a list. They need structured data attached to every option: cost, earnings, location, income type, difficulty, timing. With that, you can rule out the 95% that don't fit your situation and take a real look at what is left. That is all this site is.
What it deliberately is not
It is not a hype site. There are no income screenshots, no testimonials, no "I made $10k in 30 days" framing. The earnings ranges are conservative on purpose. A lot of them start at $0, because for many of these things $0 is the most common outcome.
It is not a course funnel. There is nothing to buy. No email capture, no webinar, no coaching call. If you find something useful here, use it and go.
It is not neutral about risk. Roughly a fifth of entries carry a warning flag. Some categories in here are saturated, some are capital traps, and some attract outright scams. Those warnings sit in the entry itself, not in a footnote.
It is not a promise. Every number is an estimate with a stated basis and stated weaknesses, laid out in the methodology. Estimates can be wrong. Some of these probably are, in places.
How it is built
Static HTML, one stylesheet, one script. No framework, no tracking. The whole index (1,118 entries, every filter, every sort) runs in your browser from a file that is smaller than a single photograph on most news sites. Nothing you search for, filter by, or click on is sent anywhere. There is nowhere for it to go.
That is partly a performance decision and partly a trust one. A site that asks you to believe its numbers should not also be loading eleven third-party scripts to watch what you do with them.
How it makes money
One affiliate placement, labeled everywhere it appears. The disclosure page explains it in full, including why it ranks where it does and what commercial relationships are not allowed to touch. That page is worth two minutes before you trust anything else here.
Who made it
This is an independent project, not a media company. It was built because the existing options were bad. The underlying data was scattered across a hundred places, and each one had a reason to shade it. There is no team, no investor, and no content mill behind it.
